Sewer & Water Line Service Plan Benefits
- Homeowner Financial Relief: Homeowners no longer have to pay to scope, unclog, fix, repair or replace broken or leaking exterior sewer or main water lines occurring from the curb to up to the foundation of their homes (The privately owned side of the systems) an especially important program for financially challenged families and senior citizens.
- $5,000 Repair and Replacement Repeat Annual Benefit: The Plan will pay up to $5,000 of repair per year, which is more than adequate to cover the cost of professional repair work, including scoping the lines, clearing out obstructions in the line causing blockage, or replacement of broken line sections and connections.
- Multi-line Coverage: Irrespective of which utility is offering the Program, the Plan covers both sewage and main fresh water lines. Plans covering Septic Tanks are also available.
- $250.00 Covered Camera Inspections, Clean Out and Auguring: The Plan will pay up to $250.00 for CCTV camera inspection and clean out of blocked lines, including snaking & auguring to remove roots and blockage.
- $1,500 Site Restoration: The Plan covers up to $1,500 for backfill, restoration and cleanup.
- $250.00 Landscape Restoration: The Plan covers $250 for landscape restoration.
- Regulator Replacement and Repair: The Plan covers repair or replacement of the fresh water pressure regulator.
- $500.00 Emergency Living Expense: The Plan pays up to $100 per day, up to $500 per occurrence for temporary hotel or motel expenses, if the owner has to vacate the property during repairs.
- Insured - No Fault - Program: It is a no fault coverage i.e. It is a service agreement backed by an "A" rated insurance carrier. (General Fidelity Insurance Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Bank America)
- Obsolescence: It covers Losses even if they are a result of age or obsolescence
- Deductible Reimbursement: It also can reimburse the homeowner deductible if part of the repair is covered under their homeowner's insurance.
